Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at each crossfold. There was a 3" vertical tear with a 2" horizontal tear coming off the middle of it in Stewart's waist, and someone put a 2" piece of paper tape on the back of the horizontal tear. There was a similar 2" tear with a 1/2" vertical tear coming off it in the upper left background area, and someone put a piece of paper tape on the back of that. They also put a piece of paper tape on the back of the bottom crossfold and on the back of the 2" of the vertical foldline below the middle crossfold. They also put a 1" piece of paper tape on the back of the right end of the bottom foldline. There was a small oval-shaped area of paper loss in the middle left of the "R" of "STEWART" in the credits, with paper loss in the background to the left of it, and someone put a piece of white tape on the back of that and put pen on the front of it to fill in the tiny missing part of the "R". There are several pinholes in each corner and some in the center of the top border. There are some tiny creases scattered on parts of the foldlines. There is some light rippling down the left and right edges of the poster, and some creases scattered in the poster. The poster has never had any restoration, other than the amateur tape repairs described above. Certainly, any talented restorer could easily remove the tape described above and linenback this poster, and it will look fantastic with little paint restoration needed. But it is also true that there are very few examples of this poster that have NOT been linenbacked (try searching databases and the Internet and see if you can find one!), and since this poster displays just fine as it is, it might also make a lot of sense for the new owner to keep it unbacked!
