An Original 1968 (from the first release of this movie in Sweden) Vintage Theatrical Folded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/4" [70 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) Hori, Ma Panenko (released in the U.S. in 1968 as "The Firemens Ball"), the 1967 Milos Forman Czechoslovakian/Italian fireman firefighter romantic screwball comedy (nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award; about a group of volunteer firemen who throw a party for their boss and invite their entire town!) starring Jan Vostrcil, Josef Sebanek, Josef Valnoha, Frantisek Debelka, Josef Kolb, Vaclav Stockel, and Josef Svet. Note that this was the third of three Czech movies director Forman made between 1964 and 1967. That brought him to the attention of Hollywood, and in 1971, he made his first English language movie, "Taking Off", which was critically acclaimed, which led to "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" four years later, and a very illustrious career after (but Forman took years between projects, so he did not have a large output, only directing 13 features in all).
