A Matted Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Photo (Learn More) Christopher Reeve was an actor from the 1970s to the 2000s. He will forever be best remembered for playing Superman in the series of 4 movies that began in 1978. Some of his other movies include: Somewhere in Time, Village of the Damned, Deathtrap, and Noises Off. Tragically, in 1995, he had an accident while riding a horse, and he became paralyzed from the neck down. He continued acting, but passed away in 2004 at the age of 52. In a tragic twist of fate, his wife Dana passed away in 2006 at the age of 44, after getting diagnosed with lung cancer, even though she never smoked! Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION photo (the image was taken in 1979 while filming Somewhere in Time but this still was reproduced in the 1990s) has been personally autographed (signed) by Christopher Reeve on the mat over the REPRODUCTION! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
