If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a collection of ten Swedish posters we were consigned by a very longtime western collector. Nine of the Swedish posters are from Hoot Gibson cowboy movies and one is from a Tom Mix cowboy movie. All were backed decades ago on a thin linen, and are generally in pretty nice condition. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one or more of these very rare posters (they are in ten separate auctions). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had two horizontal folds and two evenly spaced vertical folds, and it had minor wear on the folds. It had some creases and faint stains around the edges. Someone wrote the English language title of the movie in the left of the bottom border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. Many years ago, the poster was backed onto a thin linen with no excess. At some point, someone likely framed the poster, and it acquired some light staining scattered on the back of the poster, but more so down the right 2" of the linen, which somewhat bled through to the front in that area (see our image).
