An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Habit of Happiness, the 1916 Allan Dwan silent romantic comedy melodrama (about a man who decides that laughter is the key to happiness, and he convinces an unhappy millionaire to try it, and it works, and it gains him the millionaire's daughter as a girlfriend, but when he tries out his theory on a bunch of down-and-out men, he gets very different results) starring Douglas Fairbanks Sr., George Fawcett, Macey Harlam, Dorothy West, and George Backus NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: fair to good. There is deterioration down the right side of the slide, but it only affects one Triangle logo and the right border (see our image). The black tape is missing from the left border. We know that the slide can be restored by an expert, or one could live with these defects, but bear them in mind before placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
