An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

This Is America: Campus Boom, Campus Boom, the 1947 RKO "This is America" college attendance documentary short ("A new release every 4 weeks"; produced by Frederic Ullman Jr.; this was No. 3 in the 5th series). This short addressed the huge increases in attendance at colleges throughout America, thanks to the many veterans attending college under the G.I. Bill. Note that this is one of the "This is America" series of documentary short subjects distributed by RKO between 1933 and 1951 (at least). If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and a few tiny areas of paper loss in the vertical foldline. There were pinholes in the corners and some faint smudges in the background areas of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster.
