An Original Vintage Unfolded Special Movie Poster (measures 11" x 17" [28 x 43 cm]) (Learn More)

Female Trouble, the 1975 John Waters horrible-crime tasteless comedy ("Divine and the whole 'Pink Flamingos' gang in John Waters' Female Trouble"; "She has a lot of problems"; "About this X: Preview audiences have indicated that 'Female Trouble' includes scenes of extraordinary perversity. The distributor therefore wishes to caution the potential viewer that 'Female Trouble' may be seen as sexually and morally offensive.") starring Divine, David Lochary, Mary Vivian Pearce, Mink Stole, Edith Massey (billed "and as Ida"), and Cookie Mueller. Note that this film had a premiere in Baltimore in late 1974 but did not have a wider theatrical release until 1975 when it began playing in major metropolitan areas. As is common with low-budget "exploitation" films, it stayed in continuous first release into 1976.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that at the time this movie was made, New Line Cinema only made odd-sized posters for its releases, and NO regular (27" x 41") one-sheets, so if you want the first release poster from this movie, you need to get this 11" x 17" poster!

Condition: good to very good. The poster has darkened somewhat with age and there are some tiny tears around the edges. There is a scuff mark at lower right extending into the star's leg. The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition.
