Note that this movie was extremely odd casting for the very likeable June Allyson, and the screenwriters of the movie tried to make her character more likeable, which had the effect of hurting the underlying message of the movie. The movie would surely have been far better with the star of the Broadway production (also directed by and starring Jose Ferrer), Judith Evelyn, in the role of the wife. Important Added Info: Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. We used our best information to date this poster, but we can't always guarantee that the Italian posters we sell are not from an unmarked re-release, but this will only prove to be true in a very tiny number of cases. Condition: good. There is uneven discoloration throughout the posters and there are several tack holes scattered throughout with some torn from rough removal and some repaired with tape from the back.
