An Autographed Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More)

John Amos is a black African American actor from the 1970s to the present. He left college with the hopes of playing in the NFL but with bigger dreams of being an actor. He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs and then coach, Hank Stram, seeing that Amos wasn't that great of a football player, encouraged him to quit and take up acting. The rest is history! He is perhaps best known for playing "James Evans" on the hit television series "Good Times". He appeared on the first three seasons, and then asked the producers to let him out of the series, and they had his character have a heart attack, and it continued on without him! His next role was as the older Kunta Kinte in "Roots". But he was 38 years old, and although he was a fine actor, lead parts became scarce, and he has appeared in lots of TV and secondary movies over the years. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 81!
Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by John Amos! Our consignor obtained this autograph in person at a collectibles show.

As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
