Conan the Barbarian, the 1982 John Milius sword-and-sorcery fantasy action adventure thriller ("Thief Warrior Gladiator King"; "Written by John Milius and Oliver Stone"; based on the pulp novels by Robert E. Howard) starring Arnold Schwarzenegger (in the title role as Conan), James Earl Jones (as Thulsa Doom), Sandahl Bergman (as Valeria), Ben Davidson, Cassandra Gaviola, Gerry Lopez (as Subotai, thief & archer), Mako (as the Wizard), Valerie Quennessen (as the Princess), William Smith, and Max Von Sydow ("as King Osric")

Important Added Info: Note that this is a special promo brochure which opens to a poster on one side that measures 18" x 22 3/4". It was created by Ace Books, who had published the Conan novels by Robert E. Howard, and they were reissuing 12 novels to coincide with the opening of this first Conan movie. One side of this brochure has information about the movie that was about to open ("starring as the mighty barbarian is the only man for the part, Arnold Schwarzenegger of 'Pumping Iron' fame"). It has a cool image of the 12 book display that they created for bookstores, plus a close up from the poster on the reverse side. The poster has great Frank Frazetta art, and we have never auctioned this poster/promo brochure before. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good to fine. There is very minor wear on the folds (see our image).
