Important Added Info: Note that our consignor acquired this original 1964 Hard Day's Night window card, and then he was able to get the signatures of George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Paul McCartney on it. He was NOT able to get John Lennon to sign the window card, so he went to a autograph dealer in the 1970s and purchased an index card with Lennon's signature, and he had the window card and the index card matted together, and he displayed them on his wall!

About the Jon Robert Shaps Autograph Collection
Note that this item and 56 others were consigned to us by the brother of Jon Robert Shaps, a celebrity photographer in the 1970s and 1980s. This is a truly remarkable collection of signed items! We have created a webpage explaining who Jon Robert Shaps was and how he acquired this collection, and we urge you to view that page at this link. The page also has images of Mr. Shaps with 29 celebrities he photographed, and also an image of an appraisal of these items done in 1991, after Mr. Shaps' untimely passing. The phrase "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" is certainly overused, but it seems to be very appropriate in the case of the auction of these 57 items!

Condition: good to very good. The window card has been taped to the back of the mat with a piece of tape on the back of each bottom corner, and longer tape on the back of the top of the left and right borders and on the back of the top border. It had smudges and creases around the edges, extending into the image. The index card is in nice condition. This display will look incredible on anyone's wall!

This item has some clear imperfections. If they are within the image, they are likely noticeable, but not very distracting, or they may be in the blank borders, where they will not show when the item is displayed. We may have written a few words about those imperfections, but we may not have, as you can likely see them by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual item (if they are the type that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized image, like faint water staining or tape on the back, we ALWAYS describe that in words). Note that we grade FAR more harshly than any other movie paper seller we know of, and many sellers would grade many of our "good to very good" items as "very good"!
