An Original Vintage DeLorean Motor Company Prospectus (measures 7 1/2" x 9"; 50 pages) (Learn More) DeLorean Motor Company is an American automobile company from 1975 to 1982. Founded in 1975 by John DeLorean (who had had a legendary career at General Motors prior to starting this company), the company only ever produced one vehicle, the DMC-12 sports car. The car became famous when it was featured in the Back to the Future movie series and is known for its distinctive stainless steel body and gull wing doors. Founder John DeLorean could not make his company successful, and sadly, he tried to gain additional financing through a drug deal, which resulted in him being arrested and ended his career in disgrace. Important Added Info: Note that this was a packet sent to people interested in becoming a "DeLorean dealer". We would imagine that those who invested in becoming one lost everything!
