Rogell college university school musical romantic love triangle screwball comedy ("It's Hey-Heywire! It's Gaga-Lorious!"; "Get a cuckoo college education in laughter, gals and syncopation!"; about a movie star who quits to enroll in college, but the students discover he is not as good at football as he pretended to be in his movies, and he loves the dean's daughter, and manages to win her back) starring Jimmy Durante, Walter Connolly, Joan Perry, Charles Starrett, Craig E. Earle (billed as "Professor Quiz"), Gertrude Niesen, Raymond Walburn, The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard), Hal LeRoy, Johnny Green ("and his orchestra"), Charles R. Moore, Ernest Truex, Virginia Dale, Chaz Chase, Jimmy Wallington, Broderick Crawford, and Louis Prima ("with his band"), and. Note that Joan Perry had been a former model who was discovered by Columbia head Harry Cohn. He put her in a bunch of movies, and then married her, and in 1941, she retired. Obviously, the highlight of this movie is that the Three Stooges appeared in it, and collectors search for the movie advertising that shows them! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. The card had pinholes, tears, and small paper loss around the edges, slightly extending into the edges of the image in a few places, but not where the Three Stooges are. There was a large light water stain starting near the middle of the left border, and extending in a semi-circle through the credits, and ending to the right of the Columbia Picture credit. A talented restorer gel backed the card (meaning they backed the card onto a gel material) and they then performed excellent restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the card still exactly looks and feels like an original card (and it is!), with no backing at all. You can see slight signs of the restoration, but the card displays really well! Learn More about condition grades
