Garden Theatre, the 1940 local theater herald advertising the films to be shown at the theater in New York City from August 4th to August 17th. The films include: Buck Benny Rides Again, the 1940 Mark Sandrich cowboy western musical comedy ("Based on an Adaptation by Zion Myers of a Story by Arthur Stringer") starring Jack Benny (as the title character), Ellen Drew, Andy Devine, Phil Harris, Virginia Dale, Lillian Cornell, Dennis Day, and Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson ( billed as "Rochester"). Note that Dennis Day and Rochester were both associated with Jack Benny throughout their careers, on both his radio show and TV show.
