Some of the movies they produced were: The Quiet Man, Rio Grande, and Sands of Iwo Jima Important Added Info: Note that this was a special promotional matchbook produced by Republic Pictures in 1944. The outside is all about the studio, and the inside has an ad for Lake Placid Serenade, the Vera Hruba Ralston movie. No doubt they kept printing new matchbooks with new interior ads for then current movies! Condition: fair to good. The matches are long gone. The Republic Pictures side has fairly minor wear.
