An Original Vintage Linenbacked Stage Play Poster (measures 27 1/4" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Rice and Dorman Shows, the circa 1920s poster advertising the minstrel stage show of Rice and Dorman. We searched the Internet for information about this show, but we found very little information. We found a different poster that was dated "circa 1930", and we suspect this poster may be from the mid 1920s (although it has a style that is similar to minstrel posters from the 1890s on). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had pinholes, tears, and paper loss in small parts of the borders. It had a tear in the white background area near the center of the poster. It had small paper loss in the "O" of "SHOWS" at top right and in the background beneath it. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
