Date Sold 9/18/2012 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 4 Original Undated (probably 1969; from the first release in Switzerland) Vintage Theatrical Swiss Lobby Card (LC; measures 13" x 17 1/4" [33 x 44 cm]) (Learn More) Andrey Rublyov (released in the U.S. in 1973 as "Andrei Tarkovsky's Andrei Rublev"), the 1966 Andrei Tarkovsky Russian biographical historical artist painter melodrama (about the medieval Russian painter, best known for his painting of the Trinity) starring Anatoli Solonitsyn (in the title role as Andrei Rublyov), Ivan Lapikov, Nikolai Grinko, Nikolai Sergeyev, Irma Raush, and Yuri Nikulin Important Added Info: Note that the red card in our image contains an unclothed woman, so we have placed a white bar over that area, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual card does not have that white bar! Also note that these lobby cards measure 13" x 17 1/4" [33 x 44 cm]. Also note that this Swiss lobby card was made by the distributor creating a set of identical stiff board printed backings with printed information about the movie, with a blank space for a still, and then they would attach a number of original U.S. stills to those boards, thus creating a set of Swiss lobby cards. Note that the board has metal grommets inserted into each corner, to make displaying of this Swiss lobby card far easier. Condition: good to very good.
