Hamilton silent romantic love triangle anti-feminism melodrama (about as old fashioned a melodrama as you could get, where Swanson is a young woman whose mother tells her to be a shrew to her husband just like she did, and when she follows her mother's advice, her husband starts to stray and has an affair, and then the woman discovers that her own father had had an affair for years before he died, and that her parents' marriage was terrible; she goes to the mistress and begs her to leave her husband alone, but she refuses, but then the woman wins back her husband by showering him with attention and affection!) starring Gloria Swanson, Joe King, Lillian Langdon, George C. Pearce, and Lillian West. Note that just five years later, Gloria Swanson would make a very pro-feminist movie, "Prodigal Daughters", demanding that women get equal treatment to men! Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass, but the play dates were mostly erased (see our image).
