THRILLS! GLORIOUS SONGS! With the screen's newest singing sensation in a gripping romantic drama."; "He hunted for pirate gold and found a sweetheart treasure!"; "He was a two-fisted singing sea-ranger... who never side-stepped trouble or a sweetheart... and found plenty of both as he battled as desperate a band of cutthroats as ever ranged the South Seas!") starring George Houston (in the title role as Captain Bill Jones), Marian Nixon, Vince Barnett, Crane Wilbur, George Lewis, Juan Torena, Movita (billed as "Movita of 'Mutiny on the Bounty'"), and Roy D'Arcy. Note that Movita had just made Mutiny on the Bounty before she made this movie, so she was given prominent billing as described above, but oddly, she was not pictured on the advertising!
