An Original Vintage Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Range Eternal, the circa 1910s glass slide ("Everlastingly good"; "Won't rust out, burn out, wear out") advertising a line of wood cooking stoves. This was an ad that was shown along with coming attraction glass slides between movies at a 1910s movie theater. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good.
