Important Added Info: Note that because this poster IS ENTIRELY IN ENGLISH, we strongly suspect it was printed in Italy for use in English speaking countries (perhaps it was more used in England, because its size is close to that of a British quad). It seems unlikely it would have been solely used in Italy, given that there is only English writing. The poster has "PRINTED IN ITALY BY ROTOGRAPH - ROMA" printed at lower left. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had some scuffs in the middle of the left black background area, and some small scuffs in the left of the bottom border. Otherwise, the poster was in pretty nice condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
