An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Okay America, the 1932 Tay Garnett radio broadcasting newspaper journalism biographical melodrama starring Lew Ayres ("As Larry Wayne the broadcasting columnist"; "His greatest role since 'All Quiet on the Western Front'"), Maureen O'Sullivan, Louis Calhern, Edward Arnold (in his first talking picture), and Walter Catlett. Note that this movie was intended to be a biography of Walter Winchell ("Okay America" was his catchphrase), with Winchell playing himself. But Winchell did not play the part (perhaps his acting was sub par), and Lew Ayres, coming off his great success in "All Quiet on the Western Front" took over the role! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
