He was born Earl Stanley Morner, and he was first billed by his middle and last name; he made a few more movies billed that way, and then made some movies billed as Richard Stanley, and it was not until 1939 when he became "Dennis Morgan", and it was a few more years later when he became a top star! Some of his movies include: Thank Your Lucky Stars, In This Our Life, Christmas in Connecticut, The Hard Way, Hollywood Canteen, and many more! He passed away in 1994 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Dennis Morgan! Our consignor is a very longtime dealer/collector who acquired this signed item in the 1970s, and kept it in his collection until now, when he is selling parts of his collection. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
