Cooper & Lothar Mendes British-in-North-Africa military cavalry war desert romantic family relationship adventure thriller ("Paramount's New Sensation!"; "The Glorious Romance of 'Beau Geste' and the Thrills of 'Chang' Combined!"; based on the novel by A.E.W. Mason; one of David O. Selznick's earliest productions before working for RKO, and co-directed by the team who would soon give RKO King King, their greatest hit ever!) starring William Powell, Richard Arlen, Fay Wray, Clive Brook, Noah Beery Sr., Theodore von Eltz. Note that this movie was remade in 1939 by Zoltan Korda.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this is a fascinating find! A local theater called the "California" theater hired someone to create this window card by gluing a still to the middle of it, and then hand painting all the lettering and drawing the image at the bottom of people riding camels by palm trees. This is a "one of a kind" poster that was created by hand! Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: good to very good. There are tiny areas of paper loss in the corners. There are smudges in the solid yellow areas. The still is coming loose from the card, but it could easily be re-glued. There is a nail hole in the yellow background just below the still and some scuffs and surface paper loss in the left two camels (see our image).
