Schaffner French/U.S. prison escape crime adventure thriller ("The greatest adventure of escape!", "The greatest adventure of escape ever filmed!"; "Two men with nothing in common but a will to live and a place to die."; "Based on the book by Henri Charriere"; about the only man to ever escape from the famous French prison "Devil's Island") starring Steve McQueen (in the title role as as Henri 'Papillon' Charriere), Dustin Hoffman (as Louis Dega), Victor Jory, Don Gordon, and Anthony Zerbe NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this Italian two-panel poster was printed in 2 sections (designed to overlap) and when combined, the poster measures 55" x 78". Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid.
