Rumble on the Docks, the 1956 Fred F. Sears New York City Brooklyn teen gang crime thriller ("Law and Order vs. The Underworld... For control of the teen-gangs!"; "Out of their teens... Into big time crime! Authentic and terrifying! The whole shocking story of juvenile mobs!"; " Teen-age gang wars!"; "The authentic story of the most savage teen-age-terror of all... The juvenile gangs on the waterfront! The story of the kids from the toughest part of town... And how they get even - with a world they never made!"; "Deadly teen-gang war!"; "The juvenile delinquency story never told before!"; "From the roughest part of a big city comes the toughest movie of its kind ever filmed! The start truth about teen-age gang! Their wars! Their girls! Their crime schools!" "Based on the Novel by Frank Paley") starring James Darren (billed as "introducing James Darren"), Laurie Carroll, Michael Granger, Jerry Janger, Robert 'Bobby' Blake, and Freddie Bell and His Bellboys. Note that the producers of the movie put an asterisk after the word "RUMBLE" in the title, and defined it below as meaning "Teen-age gang war!" and "Juvenile delinquency lingo for 'gang war'". I guess they knew that 1956 non-urban audiences would not know what it meant!
