White Zombie, the 1932 Victor Halperin Haitian undead voodoo zombie monster horror thriller ("She was not alive... Nor dead... Just a WHITE ZOMBIE performing his every desire"; "They knew this fiend was practicing zombiism on the natives, but when he tried it on a white girl the nation revolted") starring Bela Lugosi (billed as "Bela [Dracula] Lugosi"; as "Murder" Legendre), Madge Bellamy, Joseph Cawthorn, Robert Frazer, and John Harron

Important Added Info: Note that this two-page trade ad appeared in the July 26, 1932 issue of Variety. Variety was printed on newsprint at this time, like a newspaper. The ad had printing on the reverse, and the person who backed it wisely used black rice paper behind it rather than white rice paper, because that makes the "bleed-through" from the writing on the back far less than it would be had they used white paper (see our image). Of course, first release movie paper from this Bela Lugosi zombie movie is beyond rare, so this trade ad (which itself is surely very rare, because almost no one saved issues of Variety at this time!) is a great way to display an original release movie paper item (and it has wonderful taglines throughout).

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The trade ad had just a few scuffs scattered in it. There is slight bleed-through from the printing on the back. Overall, the trade ad was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The trade ad was nicely backed, and displays well!
