If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card was linenbacked, NOT paperbacked, which is typical among current restorers. This is because it was backed many years ago at a time when all items were linenbacked. Because the poster could not safely be rolled, it will need to be sent in a large flat package, so bear this in mind before placing a bid on this poster. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The window card had been rolled, and that caused many horizontal creases and faint scuffs scattered throughout the card. It also had pinholes, tears, and some stains around the edges, with two pinholes in the top credits area. There were play dates written in the top blank area. Overall, the card was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The card was simply backed onto linen with no restoration. The backing made the creases and scuffs less noticeable, but certainly, you still clearly see them. While I could certainly imagine some collectors displaying this card just as it is, many others would likely choose to have a restorer perform restoration (either with or without re-backing the card), so please read our description above and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on this extremely rare window card.
