This is a slide that theaters would put on when their last show ended for the night, hoping to help get the theatergoers to exit the theater more quickly. This was one of many "helpful instruction" glass slides that were shown along with coming attraction glass slides between movies at a 1920s movie theater (we have seen these in movie scenes showing old time theaters, but it is likely that very few of these survive). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: fair to good. There is unfortunate deterioration in the top left corner of the slide that affects the "R" of "Remember" (see our image). We know that the slide can be restored by an expert, or one could live with these defects, but bear them in mind before placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
