Also note that this classic movie only had a short play date in December of 1968, so that it could qualify for the 1968 Academy Awards (held in the spring of 1969). Almost all known posters are from the "post-Academy Award release" in 1969, which prominently references the Best Picture Academy Award won by the movie.
