An Original Vintage Billboard Advertising Poster (measures approximately 9' x 20') (Learn More)

Protecting America's Freedom ("A Public Service Project"; "The Advertising Council"), a 24-sheet billboard poster designed to be displayed on highways in the circa 1960s. Note that the poster has a great artwork image of a head-and-shoulders shot of four members of each of the branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, and the Marine Corps. Note that this poster is certainly just as relevant today as it was many years ago when it was first created, and yet I wonder if anyone would create and display such a poster now (perhaps the new owner of this poster will choose to do so!). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: This billboard poster was tri-folded only (which means there is one less vertical machine fold than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than with billboards folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! Tri-folded billboards need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 16" x 38", so they cost more to send than regularly folded billboards, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses. This billboard was printed in 12 sections.

Condition: good. The poster has some smudges and water stains throughout, and some creases and tears in some of the borders, and some paper loss at some crossfolds. The poster has its share of minor defects, but certainly, any talented restorer could easily repair them during simple linenbacking, after which, the poster will look great!
