An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Teenage Monster, the 1957 Jacques R. Marquette cowboy western mutant monster horror thriller ("Wild! Wanton! Wierd[sic]!"; "A teenage titan of terror on a lustful binge!"; "Man... Beast... Or Demon! - a titan of terror!"; "The year's shock suspense sensation!"; "This year's shock sensation in its rawest form") starring Anne Gwynne, Stuart Wade, Gloria Castillo, Charles Courtney, Gil Perkins (billed as "Gilbert Perkins"; in the title role as the teenage monster), and Stephen Parker (as the young boy who turns into the monster) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was machine folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. There are many creases, smudges, pinholes, and tears around the edges of the poster and someone put brown paper tape on the back of all of three borders and 8" of the back of the top border (on the right side). There was an 8" diagonal tear in the center of the bottom border and there is additional paper tape on the back of this area, and there was tape on the front of most of the bottom of this tear. The tape is long gone but it stained the poster. There were two small areas of paper loss in the left of the bottom border and there is brown paper tape on the back of that. The right border was folded back 1 1/2" from the edge. There are rough creases along both foldlines and a few creases and scuffs in the bottom of the image. The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! The defects are mostly in the borders, and I could well imagine many collectors framing (and enjoying) this great campy poster just as it is, for most of the defects are in the borders. IN THIS SPECIAL HALLOWEEN AUCTION, we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like separation on folds, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
