An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe German 5 1/2" x 7 1/4" [14 x 18 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Der Unsterbliche Lump (released in English-speaking countries as "Immortal Vagabond"), the 1930 Gustav Ucicky & Joe May German romantic love triangle music composer melodrama (a really wild story of a young teacher in a small town who dreams of becoming a famous composer; he wants to move to Vienna, but his girlfriend refuses to go, and he leaves anyway, and he becomes a successful composer of operettas, but returning home for a visit, he finds that his girlfriend has married; this drives him insane, and he wanders the countryside for five years; he finally returns to his hometown, and discovers that they are erecting a statue to the famous composer who was born there and who vanished five years earlier, and has been presumed to have died!) starring Liane Haid, Gustav Frohlich, Hans Adalbert Schlettow, Karl Gerhardt, and Attila Horbiger. Note that Gustav Frohlich, the star of this movie, is best remembered for his leading role in Fritz Lang's "Metropolis"!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this German movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a large German poster from this movie, and NO other movie paper items, until we received this German still, which is a "country of origin" still for this German movie (and it has a great candid image of the director filming the lead stars on the set, and a large snipe on the back describing the front). Also note that this German still measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/4" [14 x 18 cm], and it is a deluxe German still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: very good to fine. The still is in really nice condition!
