The Silent Call, the 1921 Laurence Trimble silent canine dog adventure family melodrama ("From the Saturday Evening Post story 'The Cross Pull' by Hal G. Evarts"; "The story of a dog - a man - and a girl - and the wonderful love call that came to each") starring Strongheart the Dog ("Stongheart, half-dog half-wolf, aide of a man, guardian of a woman in the hills of thrills"; a German Shepherd dog who was the equal of Rin Tin Tin in early silent movies, but is sadly forgotten today by all but the most dedicated of movie buffs; in his first movie!), John Bowers, Kathryn McGuire, William Dyer, and Jim Mason

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned six lobby cards (and NO other movie paper of any kind) from this movie until we received this window card, which is the only poster we have auctioned!

Condition: very good. The card has small paper loss in two corners and tiny paper loss in the other two, but only in the blank areas. There are some faint stains and tiny tears in parts of the rest of the borders. The image area is in really nice condition and has had no restoration. The card can be framed exactly as is and display wonderfully, because the defects are solely in the blank borders, or of course, blank border restoration could be performed, either with or without backing the card.
