An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style C One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Ah Wilderness!, the 1935 Clarence Brown small town family relationship romantic comedy ("Eugene O'Neill's Great American Drama"; "Great.... rave the critics!"; based on the play by Eugene O'Neill; set in a small town at the turn of the century; it captures American family life at that time quite well!) starring Wallace Beery, Lionel Barrymore, Aline MacMahon, Cecilia Parker, Eric Linden, Spring Byington, Mickey Rooney (seventh billed, and not billed on the posters!), Frank Albertson, and Bonita Granville. Note that this movie was remade in 1948 as "Summer Holiday", and Mickey Rooney, who had played the young son in this first version, played the lead in that remake!

Important Added Info:

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss scattered in the vertical foldline between the top and bottom crossfolds, with two tears in the "RY" of "BEERY". There were pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
