Important Added Info: Note that first release 1932 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned four lobby cards and a glass slide from this movie until we received this lobby card! THERE IS A SPECIAL REASON THESE CARDS ARE SO RARE! For this movie and a few other movies Fox made in 1932 and 1933, they experimented with printing them on thin paper, rather than the regular thick paper stock. Surely this was done to economize during the Great Depression, but it is also quite likely that the theater owners did not like these "thin" paper lobby cards, and this experiment was abandoned (and this almost certainly explains why these cards are so rare, because they surely would have been damaged far more easily than thick paper lobby cards of the same period). Ironically, all the studios went to "thin" paper lobby cards in the 1940s, and that became the standard for lobby cards ever after. Also note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 11" x 13 3/4" [28 x 35 cm]. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. Most of the right blank border was trimmed off. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
