Robinson ("He's astounding! He's astonishing! He's alarming!"; in the title role as Dr. Clitterhouse), Claire Trevor ("His leading lady from radio's hit show: Big Town"), Humphrey Bogart ("The screen's leading menace... as his deadly rival!"), Allen Jenkins ("Funnier than ever... as N.Y.'s most nervous gangster!"), Donald Crisp, Gale Page, Ward Bond, Max 'Slapsie Maxie' Rosenbloom, and Ronald Reagan (as a radio announcer!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that in October of 2017, we auctioned a wonderful collection of 27 photos (most measured 3.5x5.25, but some measured slightly smaller) that were taken by a man who worked at a large movie theater in the late 1930s and early 1940s. He created wonderful theater fronts and homemade posters (some that were displayed outside the theater and some inside the theater), and after he finished making his displays, he would take a picture of each and then he put them in a scrapbook. Collectors rightfully bid aggressively on these photos, and all but 4 auctioned for more than $20 each, and 7 sold for $100 or more, with two selling for over $300 each! Now we are offering another 27 photos from this amazing scrapbook! We auctioned many of the best titles in the first group, but there are a number of equally interesting titles in this group. After this, there will be just a few more theater front photos left to auction from the scrapbook, so for the most part, this is the last chance to acquire these very rare to find photos of original theater fronts and local theater displays from this time period. Each of the 27 photos is in a separate auction with this paragraph on them. Condition: good to very good. There are ripples and some stains in the blank borders. The photo was stapled and glued to an album page, and there are staple holes in the corners and glue stains on the back, but they do not affect the front (see our images).
