If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we don't know why, but this poster is unbelievably rare! We have never auctioned it before, and we can't find that other people have auctioned it either. This is completely different from the vast majority of other 1950s one-sheets, where dozens or hundreds of them exist. Even posters from the 1950s that are generally considered rare have at least a handful of known examples. While it would seem likely that there are at least a few of these surviving, the people who own them apparently have no desire to sell them, because we have not had this poster in 24 years previously, and it may be an equal amount of time before we get it again! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some separation, scuffs, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There were many pinholes, tears, stains, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was really nicely backed, and displays great, but it has had expert restoration in the borders, which next-to-no one would realize unless it was told to them!
