Ninotchka, the 1939 Ernst Lubitsch Capitalism-vs-Communism romantic comedy ("Garbo laughs in the greatest comedy hit of the year!"; "A new laughing Garbo"; "Garbo Laughs in the Ernst Lubitsch Comedy Production"; "[Don't Pronounce It - See It!]"; "Based on the original story by Melchior Lengyel"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; with a screenplay written by Charles Brackett, Billy Wilder and Walter Reisch; about a Soviet Russian woman who travels to Paris, France on business and discovers there is more to life than what Communism offers) starring Greta Garbo (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Ninotchka), Melvyn Douglas, Ina Claire, Bela Lugosi, Sig Ruman, Felix Bressart (the following year, he had a memorable role in Lubitsch's "The Shop Around the Corner"), and Alexander Granach. Note that this movie was remade in 1957 as a musical with Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse as "Silk Stockings".

Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned this title card twice before, but only once in the last 18 years (and that one auctioned for $448)! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. There are diagonal creases in the blank corners, and three of the corners have a piece of clear tape on the back. There is a very tiny tear in the upper left blank border. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition!
