An Original Vintage Theatrical Chapter #1 (The Ghost of the Gauchos) Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 10" x 12 1/2" [25 x 32 cm]) (Learn More)

Heroes of the Wild, the 1927 Harry S. Webb silent cowboy western serial (about a woman who has an inheritance that is tied to the marking on a wild horse that is known as "The Ghost of the Gauchos", and her uncle wants to steal her inheritance) starring Jack Hoxie, Josephine Hill, Joe Bonomo ("World's perfect strong man"; famous strong man who vied with Charles Atlas for the "Most Perfect Man", he appeared in 32 movies, but like Atlas, his primary business was selling books and pamphlets telling how to acquire a body like his!), Tornado the Dog ("Peer of Dogs"), White Fury ("King of Wild Horses"), Linda Loredo, and Jay J. Bryan. Note that we were able to find out nothing more about this movie beyond what is written above. What is odd about this movie is that the only item we have seen on it is a lobby card that shows what appear to be World War I soldiers and a German Shepherd dog behind a barbed wire fence, which seems very out of place in a western serial, but what do we know? Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this title card is extremely rare. While we have auctioned several scene cards from this movie, we have never before auctioned this title card (or any posters)! Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10" x 12 1/2" [25 x 32 cm]. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. The card was trimmed to 10" x 12 1/2", affecting parts of the image border. The rest of the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
