An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Love in the Afternoon (released in some countries as "Ariane"), the 1957 Billy Wilder romantic playboy mistress much-older-man-with-much-younger-woman comedy melodrama ("1. 'How many men in my life before you, Mr. Millionaire? I will itemize them...'"; "2. 'Item 1: a red-headed algebra teacher - who first called me Miss X...'"; "3. A very sweet boy who is now a missionary in French Equatorial Africa...'"; "4. 'Item 3: a riding instructor - formerly a Cossack. Item 4: an English duke ...'"; "'5. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an original release poster from 1957! In 1961 it was used during the re-release of the movie, and a poster exchange added a snipe at lower right over the title area with the re-release title and hand wrote the re-release number in the bottom right corner. This is a very minor defect, and in no way does it affect the poster's originality. This IS an original release poster that was simply re-used. Also note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts). Condition: good to very good. There is a title snipe at lower right and some pencil writing in the lower right corner of the poster . There is a tape stain at lower right in the top of the title area and there are smudges and light stains around the edges of the poster (mostly down the right edge). There is a 1" tear in the middle of the right edge of the poster. The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
