Captain Blood, the classic 1935 Michael Curtiz (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Jamaica romantic swashbuckling high seas pirate ship ocean adventure thriller ("By Rafael Sabatini"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Errol Flynn (in the title role as Irish doctor Peter Blood), Olivia De Havilland, Basil Rathbone, Ross Alexander, Guy Kibbee, Henry Stephenson, Robert Barrat, Hobart Cavanaugh, Lionel Atwill, George Hassell, and J. Carrol Naish. Note that Errol Flynn had had a few bit parts prior to this movie, but Robert Donat dropped out of this movie at the last minute, and Warner Bros. decided that Flynn was ready for stardom, and they sure were right!

Important Added Info: Note that this script is from February 13, 1935 and the screenplay was written by Casey Robinson. The first interior page had a form that was signed by the person receiving the script and it had perforations in the bottom one-third of that page, and that form has been removed from that page (which is as intended, and is typical with such scripts). This was the way the studio kept track of who had these scripts! There are many yellow undated revision pages bound into the script. The second interior page is a different color from the rest of the script and it has printed on it: "THIS SCRIPT IS NOT FINAL AND IS GIVEN TO YOU FOR ADVANCE INFORMATION ONLY".

Condition: very good. The perforated receipt is missing from the first page . The covers were printed slightly larger than the rest of the script and they are tattered around the edges with paper loss in the bottom right blank corner. The cover of the script had "PART I" printed on it, but the script contains all of the movie, so obviously, the rest was added after the cover was printed and then someone penciled over that area of the cover.
