Nostalghia (released in some English-speaking countries as "Nostalgia"), the 1983 Andrei Tarkovsky Russian/Italian adventure melodrama starring Oleg Yankovsky, Domiziana Giordano, Erland Josephson, Patrizia Terreno, Laura Marchi, Delia Boccardo, and Milena Vukotic. Note that this movie was Tarkovsky's first movie that was made partially outside of Russia, and we have been told that it was not released in Russia until 1988, even though it had been released at the Cannes Film Festival in 1983, had a New York City release in later 1983, and then had a wide release in many countries in 1984. If anyone knows more about the releases of this movie in Russia and other countries, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
