An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) House of Horror, the 1929 Benjamin Christensen horror mystery screwball comedy melodrama (about an old brother and sister who go to their ancient uncle in New York City, where he has a group of really strange people, including "Mystery Man of the Night" William V. Mong, but fortunately, beautiful Thelma Todd is on hand to provide thrills and romance) starring Chester Conklin, Louise Fazenda, James Ford, Thelma Todd, and William V. Mong. Note that Chester Conklin and Louise Fazenda got top billing in this movie, but in the herald identifies Thelma Todd as "the heroine". Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fair. There are two cracks in the left of the slide and that portion of the glass between the cracks is loose. The slide is extremely fragile and must be handled carefully.
