An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 33 3/4") (Learn More)

Morgondagens melodi (also released as "Vi Maa Holde Sammen"), the 1942 Ragnar Frisk Swedish romantic military comedy starring Viveca Lindfors, Karin Swanstrom, Emil Fjellstrom, Bjorn Berglund, and Gun Robertsson. Note that Viveca Lindfors was a Swedish actress who appeared in 15 Swedish movies between 1940 and 1946 (this movie was her fourth Swedish movie). In 1946, she moved to the United States where Warner Bros. hoped she would become a new Greta Garbo or Ingrid Bergman, and while she never achieved that level of stardom, she did appear in 125 movies over the next 50 years!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. There is some light water staining scattered through the poster (more so around the edges). There are the remnants of a paper snipe in parts of the top blank border and there is a censor stamp at lower left. This is the sort of poster that responds well to restoration. It is likely that the water staining can be either partially or completely removed through chemical means, and after proper linenbacking, the poster will look fantastic, and will likely require little paint restoration within the image.
