An Original Vintage Key Book Photo Album (measures 8 1/2" x 11 1/4"; 59 pages) (Learn More) Warner Bros. 1938-39 Southern & Western Sales Convention. Apparently, Warner Bros. would hold big annual sales conventions for the men who sold their movies to theaters, and this one was held in Dallas, Texas, and they apparently created this bound volume of key book stills (all measuring 8" x 11") to commemorate that event, and they apparently sent one of these to all of the people who attended. Apparently, this was a really big shindig, and the pictures show that there was an indoor ceremony and that the salesmen also had an outdoor barbecue, a visit to the beach, etc. We don't know if there were celebrities present, but they did have a gigantic Oscar statuette on display and at least one movie poster. We have included images of some of the 59 pictures contained in the book. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good to fine. One of the pictures shows a man shaking hands, and under it, someone wrote "Luke", so we imagine that might be the person who received this book.
