What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had some small stains in small parts of the blank borders, with surface paper loss in the upper right blank border and a tear in the middle of the left border. The image area of the poster is in nice condition. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
