An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Japanese "B0" Movie Poster (38x62; measures approximately 38" x 62")

Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, the classic 1963 Alfred Hitchcock suspense horror thriller ("Nothing you have ever witnessed before has prepared you for such sheer stabbing shock!"; "'It could be the most terrifying motion picture I have ever made!' - Alfred Hitchcock"; "'...and remember, the next scream you hear may be your own!'"; "The birds is here!"; "Daphne Du Maurier's shattering psychic thriller."; "Based on Daphne Du Maurier's Classic Suspense Story!") starring Rod Taylor, Jessica Tandy, Suzanne Pleshette, Tippi Hedren (billed as "Introducing 'Tippi' Hedren, A Fascinating New Personality"), Veronica Cartwright (13 years old), and Richard Deacon. Note that Alfred Hitchcock used the two taglines "The birds is coming!" and "The birds is here!" on several different types of advertising for this movie, no doubt because he thought it was funny that while it is technically grammatically correct when referring to the movie, they "sound wrong"!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster is printed on a single sheet and measures 38" x 62", and it measures quite differently from Japanese two-panel posters, which are exactly twice the size of a Japanese "B2", and which we refer to as "Japanese two-panel posters". We do not know if there is an official Japanese term for this size poster (which sometimes varies slightly from the measurements of this poster, and which sometimes can be found in one section or in two sections), but if someone e-mails us further information about this size, we will post it here. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded once down the middle and six times horizontally. The left and right blank borders were folded back at one time and there are some tiny pinholes in the borders with some tears in the outer 1" of some foldlines in the borders. There are creases on parts of some foldlines. There are smudges in the blank white background near the bottom center of the poster and there is ink transfer in the top white background area (caused by the poster being folded too quickly after it was printed). It is true that the poster has many relatively minor defects, but it is also true that most of them are in the blank borders or in the white background, and after proper restoration by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic!
