6s029 PICK UP ON 101 signed 1sh 1972 by Martin Sheen, Lesley Ann Warren knows where she wants to go!

An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Autographed One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Pick Up on 101, the 1972 John Florea AIP bad girl hitchhiker thriller ("Anybody's Back Seat will do so long as he's going her way."; "We're both on the Bum, Baby - only I know where I want to go!"; with a classic poster image) starring Jack Albertson, Lesley Ann Warren (billed as "Lesley Warren"), Martin Sheen, Earl Brown, and Robert Donner. Note that Martin Sheen made this movie after he recreated his Broadway success in 1968's "The Subject Was Roses" (and after his film debut the previous year in "The Incident"). Obviously, film offers were not that great for Mr. Sheen that he took this movie! However, two movies later, he made "Badlands", which made him a major young star, and that was the end of his appearing in grade-Z movies.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Martin Sheen! Our consignor is a studio executive who was friends with one of the producers of "The West Wing", and he gave this poster to that friend, who got Mr. Sheen to sign the poster (Mr. Sheen wrote the date he signed the poster, which was in 1999, but he added "'70" after it, indicating when he made the film, which is kind of funny, since he actually made the film in 1972!). He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic.

As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.

Condition: very good.
