His rugged and somewhat sinister looks made him a natural for westerns, and he appeared in many of them over the years, often as a gunman or hired killer. Some of his movies include: To Kill a Mockingbird, The Duel at Silver Creek, and Five. Anderson passed away in 1969 at the age of 48. He had two films released posthumously! They come from the collection of Ken Jones, who was an author of many books about old-time actors, including many character actors.
